A highly experienced IT professional, having spent over twenty years in analysis, development and support roles specialising on the IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) platform, but with a range of experience that also includes Unix, SQL Server, Sybase and Lotus Notes.

IBM i skills include RPG, LANSA, CL, Query and native SQL as well as such tools as Aldon Change Management, ROBOT Scheduler and OMS Mirroring.

Experience of leading development teams through the entire project lifecycle. Certified ScrumMaster.

Strong technical analysis/design and solutions architecture skills (TOGAF 9 certified).

Extensive application support and service management experience (ITIL v3 Foundation certified).

Business Knowledge

Has held lead development roles within the financial services industry for over ten years, with specialist knowledge of loan servicing within investment and corporate banking.

Also benfits from a breadth of experience in other sectors, having supported systems to provide sales, purchasing, manufacturing and distribution services.

Strong vendor application knowledge within banking (ACBS and ALFA), and manufacturing/distribution (System/21 ERP). Has worked on both sides of the business / external service provider relationship.
Kevan has studied cinema to degree level and is a member of the BFI. He is also a keen, if barely competent, musician and photographer.
