Technical Skills and Experience

A highly experienced IT professional, having spent over twenty years in analysis, development and support roles. Has a broad range of technical skills, with particular expertise on the IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) platform.

IBM i skills include RPG, LANSA, CL, Query and native SQL as well as such tools as Aldon CMS, ROBOT Scheduler and OMS Mirroring.

Other technology skills include MQ, Unix, Sybase, MS SQL Server, VBA, ASP, Flash and Lotus Notes.

Strong technical analysis/design and solutions architecture skills (TOGAF 9 certified).

Extensive application support and service management experience (ITIL v3 Foundation certified).

Business Knowledge

Has held senior technology roles in the financial services industry for ten years, with specialist knowledge of loan servicing in investment and commercial banks.

Also benfits from a breadth of experience in other sectors, having supported IT systems providing sales, purchasing, manufacturing and distribution services.

Strong knowledge of banking applications including ACBS and ALFA, as well as the ERP application System/21.

Has worked on both sides of the business / external service provider relationship.
